The coloring system involves the mixing of two precursors of oxidation dyes and an enzyme belonging to the class of  oxidoreductases, the natural catalyst of the coloring process. This enzymatic system has numerous applications in the field of: the tanning industry with the dyeing of leathers; cosmetics with the formulation of hair dyes; interior design with the coloring of wood fibers useful for making tiles.
